2023 School Supplies Donation to NSD
Nile4u donated $1000 check to North Shore School District Superintendent during the Board Meeting. Team Nile worked hard to fundraise over the summer by Stenciling home numbers, selling Fauna fotos, selling Jam and by collecting donations from friends and family.
2023 Inglemoor High School Care Team Donation
Nile4u donated $700 worth of Fred Meyer gift cards and $300 worth of Hygiene products to support Inglemoor student community. Team Nile fundraised by participating in Bothell Downtown fair and sold Fauna fotos and Whimsy Wonders art supplies. We also got sponsors from Main Street Bothell local businesses. Thank you to all for supporting our initiatives!
2023 Turkey Earthquake Fundraiser
Over the past two weeks, Team NILE has worked on fundraising for earthquake relief in Turkey. At the time of writing this, the death count has surpassed over 34,000. We had to opportunity to sit down and talk to a board member of the Turkish American Cultural Association of Washington (TACAWA) and we learned insights about this tragedy as a result. We learned that one of the best things we can do is continue to spread awareness about the earthquakes. American media tends to forget about tragedies like this once it's deemed too redundant. Needless to say, NILE will continue to post and talk about the situation in Turkey.
